I rarely use the Attchmnt: header row explicitly. It is in my header, 
normally hidden. In general I use control-J to attach attachments 
(position the cursor in header, type control-J and a prompt for the file 
to be attached appears at bottom of page ... this prompt DOES ALLOW tab 
completion).

I use the Attchmnt: row (which then shows up) only if I change my mind and 
want to drop an attachment.
