I can still move alpine's binaries around, right?

I'm trying to make fat binaries (both ppc & intel architectures in one file) of alpine. If I use the --prefix option to configure, can I then move the binaries around (like I can with pine) afterwards with no ill effects? For example, I was thinking of doing a make install on both a PPC & Intel machine into slightly different directories, then manually using lipo to smoosh the two architectures together, and move them into the actual destination folder. (Slight whine -- if there were just a bin folder made with all of the binaries like pine, I would've done this already. I couldn't figure out how to tell if a file is an executable with the 'find' command, so I'm now actually trying this 'make install' approach.) _______________________________________________ Pine-info mailing list [email protected] http://mailman1.u.washington.edu/mailman/listinfo/pine-info
