grep/search through folder collections?

Hi,

Well-- Previously when I had my mail files on my own server, I could
just go in and grep for phrases, email addresses, etc-- and find
exactly what I was looking for through my countless mail files broken
up by month and year...

Now that my mail is being hosted on someone else's server (apparently
a different machine that the one my domain is hosted at), I have no
ability to get in and search in that manner.

So I am wondering, is there a way within pine to accomplish this sort
of thing?  All I have seen is [W]here is, which is limited to what is
displayed on the screen (and is not recursive).

If there is a way to pipe grep through pine, that would be amazing--
so I thought I'd ask here.
