Problem with pmapi32.dll

Hello all,


I am trying to make our Windows desktop application
work with PC-Pine. Several mails are generated by the
application and I able to send the mails using MS
Outlook as the mail client. 

One of our clients is using PC-Pine and I have been
trying to integrate that with our application. I have
successfully configured PC-Pine (as well as Alpine) so
that mails are sent through the interface provided and
I have set the internet option so that PC-Pine is the
default mail client. But when I try sending the mail
generated by the application pmapi32.dll throws the
following error

************* Exception Text **************
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not
set to an instance of an object.
 
Can some one give some suggestions about what I am
doing wrong?
