On Alpine 1.00 (a ubuntu supplied upgrade) when I try to invoke the spell checker with ^T the errormessage is "Spell checking file " " not found". Looking at the configuration file, there is no value set for the spell checker. I don't know what the default is but when I entered /usr/bin/aspell I got the message "alternate speller terminated abnormally (-1)" Trying /usr/bin/ispell succeeds but I would rather use aspell. Any ideas?
