Can Pine or Alpine merge address lists?

    My favorite private discussion list has just moved to a
new  server. This is the second time it's had to. I still
have a laboriously  compiled list that we used to
reconstitute it before; the new one isn't  so bad, since
some of us have kept hoards, but we do still lack access to 
the main list on the previous server. 

    I can easily make a new hoard, with the take-address
function, of  those we have reached today. What I want is
some minimally laborious and  tedious way to compare the new
hoard with the old, and send out notices  to those we
haven't reached yet.

    Can either Alpine or Pine 4.64 help??
