Stuff?  No, I wrote I can't administer _sendmail_, both because I'm
rusty _with sendmail_, and because I don't own the server.

Now I'll take your (good) advice and go away to cool my head.  It's
pretty clear to me that the answer is "No, there's no way to do that".
I would have been quite content with that answer.
