Segmentation Fault when using autoresponder.

I am using:

autorespond-2.0.2
vpopmail-5.4.29

On a Ubuntu Linux machine:

# uname -a
Linux host.ca 2.6.31-302-rs #7 SMP Thu Oct 29 22:57:03 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux

When I use qmailadmin to add an autoresponder, all the files seem to
be created correctly
except there is a segmentation fault when the .qmail file gets invoked.

#cat .qmail
/home/vpopmail/domains/domain.org/rps/Maildir/
| /usr/local/bin/autorespond 86400 3
/home/vpopmail/domains/domain.org/rps/vacation/message
/home/vpopmail/domains/domain.org/rps/vacation

# grep client /var/log/qmail/current

Any ideas what is wrong or how it can be fixed?
