Qmail,vpopmail Quota problem

Hi,
am experiencing quota issues with my qmail, vpopmail setup. i installed netqmail
1.06, as well as vpopmail 5.4.30. I laters backup up my old server mailboxes and
restored them on this new one. however, any time i send a mail from outside to
one of those old mailboxes, the message bounces back with this :
"Message rejected. Not enough storage space in user's mailbox to accept message."

the vuserinfo function gives the correct info about sizes of mailboxes as it
were on the old server, but i still get that not enough space bounce backs..

Any help please...
