hi to all,
I have install the qmail hi to all,
I install qinstall-1.1.tgz of www.inter7.com without gui mode.
I am running few domains on my server like rajis.nice rajis.fool with
user [email protected],[email protected] and
[email protected],[email protected] and try to send mails
between these domains.
In the first time of domain creation it works well then I made few
setting in qmail control files and try again it return error no mailbox of
the user found at localhost.name.
If I again create another domain then all the mails from previous
domains can be recieved by the new domain but reply to the old domain again
shows mailer damoen error mailsbox for the user does not exist at
localhost.name.
where localhost.name is my linux pc name.
I am running RH8.0 and all the installtion done by the qinstall package.
I am adding the domains by vadddomain.
So can someone specify the reason for the problem, is it due to not proper
DNS setting for these new domains or MX setting are needed or there is
some problem in vpopmail5.2. or somthing I am missing in between.
Please let me know abt it ASAP.

I also remove postfix as it was running before at port 25.
as qmail-smtp's tcpserver I want to run..
Can virtual domain do forwarding for one user mail to other user on same or
other domain localy and remotly.
Can few mails do send to remote user also even if the remote server name is
local on email server.
Is MX setup required to manage multiple domain based QMAIL server.
How to do setting of Maildir in procmail filters global file
/etc/procmailrc.
So filter can perform action on Maildir format user.
Last question
Is procmail can be just preline in .qmail file of every user of every
domain to make procmail work and all the filter can be define in
/etc/procmailrc one global file.???
