Just to report that s/qmail has continued to function flawlessly in the
interim.

As a matter of fact, I took quite extensive notes.  In particular, I
recorded the places where I had difficulty, and what I did to solve the
problems.  These notes definitely aren't a recipe to do the task,
though.

Would you like me to send you a copy of these notes (a text file)?  I'm
not sure how big this file would be, but it shouldn't be more than 40 or
50k, if that.  I'd rather not post these notes on the mailing list,
though.  I'll just have to extract them from a more encompassing file,
and go through them to make sure I haven't left any disparaging remarks
or foul language.  ;-)

Be aware that my setup isn't a mail server, it's merely a desktop.  So
if you're setting up a server, there will surely be subtleties I've
missed.
