But we're  not talking  about delivery problems,  we're talking  about a
crashing  qmail-remote---this should  never  happen. That  fact that  it
happens represents a bug that needs to be investigated and fixed. I know
the OP  is likely just  trying to get  deliveries working again,  but he
also needs to spend some time  figuring out why qmail-remote is crashing
because this is a bug.
