Ok i left -DQLDAP_BAILOUT out of the Makefile and now it works. How come? Could this be because of a filesystem problem? A few months ago i compiled qmail-ldap + qmail-ldap-control after patching it worked. now i installed a new etch server en compiled qmail again. Everything went fine except when i started qmail i get the error: alert: qmail-todo: cannot start: unable to read controls. The ldap query is done and the loging of ldap gives the same result as the working version. so it has to be something els.
