quota in shared mailstore

Hi,
I've multiple servers with qmail-ldap+courier sharing the mailstore. The mailstore is a NAS which is mounted on the mail servers. Now I want to enable quota with maildirsize in this setup. Will it cause any deadlocks or race conditions over the maildirsize file?
