Nice to see some news. :-) I missed the large quota support, and
speaking of features I'd love to see, I always wanted an option
to allow exceptions for the MAXRCPTCOUNT, the way I do it now is
running qmail-smtpd on an alternative port, but I'd like to
restrict who can authenticate/relay. Anyway, thanks for the
update (and thanks to Andre, Claudio and Boris for the new patch).

For those like me that were curious about what changed, here is
the relevant section from QLDAPNEWS. :-)

Add ~control/goodmailfrom, a list of addresses which will bypass any
checks that would happen on the sender address. This also includes the
 RBL checks.

Removed the TLD length check from SANITYCHECK since TLDs are on sale now.

Implemented AUTHORIZED environment variable which is respected by qmail-smtpd.
This is useful together with AUTHREQUIRED and external tools like pbscheck.

qmail-smtpd and qmail-qmtpd respect the NOLOCAL environment variable. If set
~control/locals or ~control/locals.cdb is not considered to check if a
recipient is a local address or not. Only the rcpthosts files are searched.

It is now possible to use @domain-tld in ~control/bigbrother to capture all
 mails to the specified domain.

Support user@ syntax in badrcptto and badmailfromunknown.

Try to minimize stat()'s by parsing the filename. If that fails a stat is
still done. This can reduce the amount of time spent on quota recalculation
and opening maildirs in qmail-pop3d massivly.

Implement a dovecot auth module installed as auth_dovecot.

Add the custom error message qmail-queue patch which is useful for e.g.
 simscan.

BADRCPTDELAY support added. Diff originally from
 http://kristof.bajnok.hu/qmail/qldap-badrcptdelay.patch

Add GREETDELAY and DROPRUSHGREET to annoy spammers. This delays the
the initial greeting by stuttering with 1 char per second and if
DROPRUSHGREET is set all clients rushing for the ehlo will be disconnected
because of a protocol violation. Idea somewhat stolen by OpenBSD's spamd.

Implemented the aliasdomain map to remap domains in the LDAP queries.
This allows to transparently alias domains in such a way that RCPTCHECK
 works as well.
 Idea from http://kristof.bajnok.hu/qmail/qldap-domainalias.patch

The username of authenticated smtp users is now exported in the SMTPAUTHUSER
environment variable. Idea by Nicolas de Bari Embriz Garcia Rojas.

Kind regards,
