data problems

I'm having a problem with sent-data

If I sent a Email using telnet and I read the email using outlook, the 
sent data show 1970 or "no data".

Some points:
1. I know that is not the write way to sent a Email;
2. Outlook is not the best way to read message;

The question is: There is some way to set this date using qmail-ldap?
