Archiving Function

Hi list:
        i need to backup outgoing messages from certains users, i know
there is a archiving function on qmail-scanner, that is better than
use the qmail-tap patch that makes inconfortable John Simpson patch ;)
, is there a way on modifying qmail-scanner-queue.pl to make this
changes so i don't need to recompile it??
