working of serialmail

Hi,
If I have around around 200 mails in my ~alias/pppdir/ and I fire
maildirqmtp (or maildirsmtp) in what orders are the mails sent? Are 
the mails last in qeue sent first or the ones first in queue or ones 
with smaller size etc? What is the logic used?
