Try looking at the auth_smtp patch. It should allow you to have your users use smtp with authentication. You may have to patch your source directory of your qmail installation, then you need to modify your "qmail-smtpd/run" file to include the path to "qmail/bin/auth_smtp" file. -----Original Message----- From: Matthias Jordan [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 06 February 2003 21:02 To: [email protected] Subject: Authenticated SMTP Hi, folks. My ISP is going to switch from plain vanilla SMTP to Authenticated SMTP. Is there any way to implement this with serialmail without changing the code? In other words: is there any change to do this with an off-the-shelf serialmail? If not: is there any workaround? Bye!
