I guess this is a mailing list where people are out to help each other out
and not to make fun of other people......And if Mr. Clemens did not
understand what the problem was then I guess he could have asked and
moreover I don't think that he is as smart as he pretends to be....

This is not only a qmail related problem and has got serialmail
involved....ANyway I have solved the problem myself.....So sorry I asked
people like Mr. clemens......You deserve some accolades for your effort to
make fun out of people.....And I don't give a damn whoever you are and how
smart you are.....

And to all other people who sent in their replies, thanx very much.....


The Solution:

The mailserver I was referring to is not an open relay and authenticates
useing smtp_auth and I was supposed to set that up and I could have done
it that way....But I found a better solution by setting up qmail on my
Linux Box with a dial-up internet connection to act as the relay itself
and send the mails out by itself.....For that I setup if-up that way to
remove the :alias-ppp entry from the /var/qmail/control/virtualdomains
file,whenever a dial-up connection has been established and then send the
mails using,

maildirsmtp ~alias/pppdir alias-ppp- localhost `hostname -f`

And then again put the :alias-ppp back in the file when exiting the ppp
connection....This does all I wanted to do......
