Hi, folks. Frank wrote: > doesn't increase the readability of your messages. You should expect > criticism like that from Clemens. Clemens only reaction was not criticism but sarkasm. He didn't point out any of your points. That's contra-productive and doesn't help anybody. The only one who benefits from such behaviour is the poster himself - in this case Clemens - who appearantly gets much of his self-respect from making fun out of other people. > Take it as a lesson - Clemens did not intend to make fun of you - he He sure as hell did intend that. He impersonated Animesh's style of writing. Why would he do that if not to make fun out of him? And the only lesson I take it as is to ignore Clemens messages. > In fact Mr. Fischer is smart and what is more important, he answered > your *only* question correctly. And he was correct, that the problem Yeah. And this is a smart-ass discussion that leads to nowhere. The question in Animesh's message was obvious: "what is going on here and who's responsible for it?" Both of you obviously want that writers ask questions in a way that they are already able to answer their own questions. That's bullshit. I was (hopefully) able to see what happened on the neolinux machine and sent Animesh a couple of hints what to look at. If list readers are unable to help, they should save the bandwidth and shut up. For some strange reason, the same people who post those "I'm so god-damn clever and you are no match to me" messages are the same who bitch around if somebody distributes 5 characters on 5 lines in his signature because only 4 lines are allowed and say it' because of the bandwidth issue.
