RE: How to make autoturn work?

The problem here is, that the IT manager does not want any server in the =
DMZ to initiate the connection through the firewall to an internal =
server.   He wants internal servers to initiate the connection to the =
servers in the DMZ.  So basically what I am saying is that he wants the =
Exchange server to initiate the connection to the DMZ mailserver.  This =
is why I want to use autoturn/turn/etrn.  Is there a way for the =
Exchange server to signal to the Linux/qmail server that its time to =
deliver the mail (I'm assuming that when the Exchange server connects to =
the Linux/qmail server and issues some kind of command that qmail will =
be able to use that existing smtp connection and not want to start up =
its own smtp connection).

Much, much easier and the nice thing is the fact that you don't need to =

any changes on the Exchange box to make this work.

Take your domain name out of /var/qmail/control/local file. Make sure it =
is=20
listed in /var/qmail/control/rcphosts and add=20
"<domainname>:<ip_address_of_exchange_box>". That's it!!!! Piece of =
cake.

You will only want to use serialmail if mail sits at the ISP first and =
the=20
Internet link is "expensive". Doesn't sound like you have such a setup.
