   No, not unless you write your own routines in the .bin/x_command shell
script (although why you'd want to use an X-Command to approve a message is
way beyond me).

   Set up a test list, and experiment. I think you'll find the Manual file
(3f) explains it reasonably well, and the FAQ (
http://www.hartzler.net/smartlist/SmartList-FAQ.html#Section_8.1 ) walks you
through the rest.

   If you are instead asking, "How can I add an Approved: header field using
my poorly-designed and somewhat brain-damaged Navigator/Communicator email
client?" I'd suggest you do it exactly the same way as you send an X-Command:
header field; read rc.submit (after it loads rc.local.s10) to see how
SmartList is treating an Approved: header field as the first line of a TEXT
message the same way it treats an X-Command: header field as the first line
of a TEXT message. (Note that approving multipart/* messages will require
actually ADDING the header field, or coming up with and authoring a
subject-passworded system, or some other solution. But then, all this is
clearly covered in the FAQ as well...follow the suggested links.)
