You can use a script like sanitizer (google for ``anomy sanitizer'') to
remove/convert attachment caming to the list.

There's a plently of tool to manage MIME encoded message, some year ago
i've done a script in shell and metamail, but i think that tools like
sanitizer are more general and configurable.
