I have ASK installed on one server and I have only one email account on one
of the virtual domains actually using it at the moment.

I'm trying to untangle what is actually going on.

I just received a confirmation message from the protected account addressed
to a non-existent user @ my servername The original message was addressed
to a whole bunch of other non-existent users @ my servername

But the Received: lines show that it was for the protected account so I am
guessing that there must have been a Bcc or something cuz if I try to send
to a non-existent user @ my servername it bounces.

But I know the confirmation message didn't have a Bcc so what gives? The
confirmation message came into the protected account and ASK delivered it
because it authenticated it as being delivered by ASK.

Any guesses or pointers on how to figure this out?

I'm guessing that it has something to with the fact that the confirmation
message was delivered locally, but... I don't see why non-existant user @
servername would show up in the account of a user on a virtual host. If
anything, it often works the other way around.

Jennifer
