Ideally, users would briefly discuss their feature requests on the list and
then submit them as a "Feature Request" item on sourceforge.net. That does
not always happen. I always try to add the requests there myself, but as time
is limited, I'm not always able to do so.  It's important to make sure your
features are there as I use the trackers to decide which features will go in
the next version.
