Hi, First, thanks a lot for your nice and well documented project! I hope it will continue to grow and have success :) I'm currently testing it, and I'm planning to use it on a server-wide basis later. Some ideas / questions: 1) when somebody (human) answers to the ASK-confirmation mail, he should get some feedback from ASK, like "ok, you've been added to my whitelist and all your mails (+list) have been delivered". (could be based on user configuration in .askrc) I saw it was on the SF tracker: I just think it's an "urgent" issue :) 2) language of the confirmation message could be selected automatically using language detection tools like http://odur.let.rug.nl/~vannoord/TextCat/ 3) if I send 3 mails to somebody "ask-protected" and I'm not on his whitelist, I will get 3 confirmation requests (same sender, same recipient): 8 Feb 04 John Please confirm (conf#223fa130c65fd54ddfa1a468a4fafd57) 9 Feb 04 John Please confirm (conf#c7d3b43a220e988a2e53accfff862cb7) 10 Feb 04 John Please confirm (conf#054597a23e55d44b1ad9b151c491ff8d) Don't you think only one would be enough? For example there could be a setting: maximal frequency of confirmation request: max 1 per hour, 1 per day or one per week... (like good mailresponders works). The confirmation request could then display a list of all pending mails. 4) is there anyone here using ASK on a server-wide basis with qmail+vmailmgr ? (the "--home" option of ask.py is quite practical, thx!)
