If you don't clean up your queue, it sits there forever. This is so to
prevent the accidental deletion of valid messages.

Yes. Try the remote commands. Try sending yourself a message with a
subject of "ASK HELP".

It's a manual process. There's no mechanism in ASK (yet) to do it. You can,
however, setup an easy cron job to do it for you.
