It's not "ClamAV" specific. :) Mailing-list management software will send
back a confirmation before adding users to the mailing-list.  Granted, it
only happens under very specific circumstances, but it can also be used as
a reflector for spam.  I particular don't think ASK, MTAs, mailing-list
software, or autoresponders are effective spam reflectors as they usually
mangle the original message in the reply. This renders the HTML body used by
most spammers useless.

You sure can. Use procmail to "filter" the message and add a "header xxxx"
construct to your whitelist allowing everything that is not spam to come in.
Works like a charm.
