Darryl, Well What I did before I got ASK Maintenance Setup is logon my mail server and issue these commands to look for the message. Then I would send a Confirmation email for them... $ grep -E 'From:|Subject:' /home/userid/.ask/queue/* >queue.txt |more queue.txt |grep budget Then When I find the email I would do this, $ mail -s "Please confirm (conf#b9ee4h8e6dfdbbd55ce625240ec7b9dc)" userid < queue.txt b9ee4h8e6dfdbbd55ce625240ec7b9dc needs to be the correct number. But the Ask Maintenance app is really nice Chris Tuska ----- Original Message ----- From: "Darryl Caldwell" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 07, 2005 9:26 PM Subject: [A-S-K-users] responses from vendors > Hi, > > I am curious what users of ASK do to handle automatic responses from > vendors (receipts, password reminders, etc) where do you don't know > the vendors address beforehand. > > Say I want to rent a car on line and the vendor sends me a > confirmation email that is automatically generated.... > > > -D > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > The SF.Net email is sponsored by: Beat the post-holiday blues > Get a FREE limited edition SourceForge.net t-shirt from ThinkGeek. > It's fun and FREE -- well, almost....http://www.thinkgeek.com/sfshirt > _______________________________________________ > A-S-K-users mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/a-s-k-users > ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by: Beat the post-holiday blues Get a FREE limited edition SourceForge.net t-shirt from ThinkGeek.
