white-black-ignore list entry syntax

Hi,
I have been working on learning ASK AND Python, I use
postfix/courier/mysql in a semi-custom setup and wanted to see if I can
make ASK use MySQL instead of the flat files for the white/black/ignore
lists.
(got it working for the most part) :)

Can someone tell me what was the idea in checking "from" "to" "subject" in
the __infile block of askmessage.py?

Under what circunstance will ASK look at anything besides "from", so I can
properly build my database query(s)? I am not good on regex and I am
afraid to miss a match somewhere.

Perhaps a list of examples of possible matches ASK will act upon would help.

Can ASK match anyone on a domain level ie: "*@domain.name" or "@domain.name"

In checking a subject line does ASK check for exact match or a match
anywhere on the line?

Is there a document somewhere that detail this part of ASK? I vagely
remember seeing some examples somewhere but I cant find it again...

Any "gotchas" I need to be carefull is appreciated. :)
