Bill, if you download that GerH at hebbut.net and peek in the ./src directory of that one, you'll find the config_BillY.h header file where you can set these (and others), to remove those classifiers at compile time. BTW: latest GerH (on line _now_) now uses your #define (prefixed with 'CRM_' though) to turn off experimental classifiers.
