seems you played with the src after last wput:

$ patch -p1 < /tmp/crmregex_tre.c_segv-080323.diff
patching file crmregex_tre.c

$ grep ^VER Makefile
VER_SUFFIX ?= 
VERSION=20080317-BlameJoeLangeway_VT

in src/ from last wget run I did.

Perhaps it's only a matter of [[:blank:]]s - try with 'patch -l' .
