The segfault in the original unpatched version (I couldn't reproduce it
earlier today).  The patched version works fine.  So the patch fixes the
problem on my sites.

As I understand it Helmut (the original reporter) could still get it to
segfault on some machine.  But I don't know what TRE version he uses
there, I suspect it's 0.7.3.  I've asked him for clarification and
further testing (you were CCed), so we should hear more from him.
