Under what conditions do they get build? Oh boy. You got me right where it hurts right there. The man pages are still on the 'TODO' list; read: need to be pushed kicking and screaming into the Year of the Fruitbat. Haven't gotten a working zoem here, so that's all left over from 2004/5? when Joost van Baal did the initial configure/autoconf transition. > Okay. Just before I go I tried one without the above mentioned --with- stuff and guess what? It works :) Nice. And there I was trying something else already. Anyway, your trouble may probably be due to the configure script loading the incorrect regex.h after all; TRE is interface conpatible with the other POSIX ones IIRC, so mixing regex.h header files doesn't hurt as long as you don't use the TRE extended features, like p->value > This is CRM114, version 20080325-BlameSentansoken (TRE 0.7.5 (LGPL)) (OS: linux-gnu) So yours gets reported as linux-gnu too. Good. Now if there were people with AIX and the like around.... > So the problem is "preg->value" in crmregex_tre.c: sorta. It's regex.h cocktailing what's doing you & me in here. > I will probably anyway need to add "--with-regex=tre" and "--with-regex-includes=<path to tre regex.h>" into the ebuild for all the users wanting to build a static CRM114 with TRE. Yup, in that case, you'll need those.
