   This is probably stupid to ask, but when it produces errors on your
   box, how come nobody noticed it before? It's not like it got in there
   yesterday. :-S

Because that code only gets activated when you turn on
URL fetching - and nobody does that nowadays.  The fix came
in to prevent an "out of window space" from prior eras.

   Thanks! Though given Paolo's response, I'll keep one around as
   additional test case for the future, because
   (a) I can understand his argument - even though it makes the lexing a
   little harder, but users shouldn't be bothered like that if not
   necessary, and
   (b) if I don't and I do come out with a new compiler, I'll sure mess
   this one up, because my concentration will be somewhere else.

   mathexpr_unescaped_test.crm it is then. ;-)
