Hmmm... popped a chocolate in my system and *hunch*.

When you run mailreaver 'clean' again, you'll see the error there. I bet.

Why? Because we had this fluke a while back where there was some
inexplicable behaviour, right? And this extra line of code was added
to crm114:
  fprintf(stderr, "ifn = .... etcetc.
I recall, right?

Well, guess what: that one will show up, even when the error is
trapped silently in the script. Bill doesn't have fatalerror_ex(...)
in there, but we can fake it with an snprintf() and little string
decl.
Can you send that sourcefile (I believe it was crm_expr_file_io.c) over too?

What we're going to do there is keep that error message in there for
the next the original Heisenbug comes round again, but we'll stick
inside the fatalerror() so a silent trap /.../ catch in a CRM script
will make sure that error message part doesn't show up on stderr.

If I'm still capable of rational thought, I think we've got this one
nailed then....
