What kind of issues are likely?

I'm lucky in that this is a hobby server. My production server goes
down at least 3 days a year and it's still one of the more reliable
ones in the hobby. So I've got a good little test bed - 900 inbound
mails a day until things pick up at the end of summer, and nobody loses
money if it goes down.

That's perfect. I did a search for the "libm.a" file in the Mandriva
repository and was able to pick out the right package because of the
description. I also got lucky and found an RPM for the static TRE
development libraries. Mega test failed, "make: *** [megatest] Error
126", but otherwise compile proceeded without any other hitches. 

I'm a vi guy. Is anything in CRM a compelling reason to install emacs?
