Yeah right, that is what I meant. I think that a developer wants to
concentrate on application problem at hand, and should not be distracted
by excessive verbosity of supplementary function calls. And the reader
of the code, likewise.

Absolutely!

[I hope that I might be able to contribute "unmime" layer, reusing the
code from zmscanner (where I hope to incorporate crm114 once it is
available as a library). I am eager to start playing.
