For example, parsing a CSV file with /(?i:":*:email:".+?"([[:print:]]+?)".+?\n)/ matches the column after :email: while /(?ir:":*:email:".+?"([[:print:]]+?)".+?\n)/ matches the last column on the line. Excellent example.
