Re: What happened to /tarballs/?

Haven't used them myself yet, but for git I'd go with gitHub.
Launchpad looks much nicer to me as if offers a full alternative to SF
if I read the writing right, but (a) it's bazaar based, so you might
have to use that instead of git, and (b) given that we don't even use
SF's tracker and other tools - apart from the mailing list support -
I'm fine with sticking with SF for everything else. Heck, I do for
other volunteer/public work (pavuk), and ít hasn't been an problem for
me.
