There's no need for the libtre spec file. TRE is available for RHEL from 
the RPMforge repository, easily accessible by installing the 
'rpmforge-release' package from that repository or downloading it 
manually. I'd love to see crm114 in the RPMforge repository as well. Can 
you post your .spec file for Ger's fork?

I'm looking at Ger's stuff myself. It's.... a very extensive fork with a 
*LOT* of modifications, many of which are reasonble but unnecessary. GPL 
lets you do that, so it's not a copyright problem. But I'm not sure how 
much of that change was added for Ger's Win32 compilation environment, 
and it makes it much more fascinatinig to integrate new releases of 
CRM114 to his fork, or to push his changes back to Bill's mainline. That 
makes what to use for an RPM a reasonable concern.
