   i just upgraded to:

    This is CRM114, version 20081111-BlameBarack, rev 4797 (TRE 0.7.5
(LGPL, APPROX, WCHAR, MULTIBYTE)) (OS: linux-gnu)
    Copyright 2001-2009 William S. Yerazunis

   to avoid traps working funny.

I'm now getting a new mysterious (in this context) error message:

   Floating point exception

   when i run my program.

the only problem before was that the program couldn't handle files
that were too large. now, it seems it can't handle any file without
   getting a floating point exception.

Hmmm... that's very odd.

Try running it with -t (user trace) and see where it's dying. If that
doesn't help, try -t -T (user trace and developer trace, very verbose).
