I'm taking a "mini vacation" and working on some projects with the Twitter API: http://apiwiki.twitter.com/Twitter-API-Documentation Projects to come out of that will be one or more of the following: Notifications for players on USAK (My Diplomacy game server) Real Time Diplomacy games on Twitter Spambot/BambiBot killer Intelligent User Agent/filter I obviously incline toward the Diplomacy game applications, but I'll be completing the TwitterScript processor and testing the library code over the coming week if anybody else is interested in Twitter as a text stream. libtwitter.crm - library routines for accessing the Twitter REST API: http://crm.pastebin.com/f186a6e0 postbot.crm - a sample application employing libtwitter http://crm.pastebin.com/f37ea4d8b TwitterScript is just a collection of processor instructions than can be included in a text file that is processed one line at a time. Right now the processor just pops off one post every interval with basic flow controls, but I am envisioning something like a music score with codas and tempo controls as well as implementing the complete Twitter REST API in the script. If anyone has a favorite resource on interpreter design to recommend, I could use a little something for my offline light reading. :-) Tx, Chris ps - The http://crm.pastebin.com is open for anyone who would like to use it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
