Thanks for the heads-up.

I will probably wait six months or so, because this upgrade
forces people to *also* upgrade their TRE.

If it were backward-compatible, I'd go much sooner.  But 
sadly, it isn't. :(

I wonder if this is fuelled in any way by BSD making TRE 
the standard regex library.
