You are not obliged to support ECN in any piece of your equipment. In
opposite, we expect that your system should behave in accordance with
basic TCP standard and simply ignore unknown capability requests.

Unfortunately, some buggy network equipment understands any unknown
capability requests as an "attack", and completely blocks communications.

Fortunately, this bug is widely known since mid-2000, and all normal
vendors have firmware updates. I believe, Linksys too.

So, the practical proposal is to contact Linksys techsupport and demand
a bugfix for this 5-years-old bug.
