We are trying to remove the above ip address from the DSBL list.
 
We are getting this message when using the 'Removal System':
 
No removal addresses available. Please configure reverse DNS for this host
to be able to remove it.

I have sent an email to [email protected], our ISP (message body
below).

Please create reverse dns for IP 84.12.213.226
 
The reverse dns entry should be mail.skshippingeurope.com

The ip address above is our Symantec 200R firewall applicance which is not a
mail server.
 
Would creating a reverse dns entry for the above ip address helps to remove
us from the DSBL list?
 
Many thanks for your help.
 
We will be moving our mailboxes to a provider that has spam/virus
protection.  Also, we will change antivirus products from Sophos 4.1 to
Symantec Antivirus 10.
