Thanks Bert for your response. When I tested from hotmail I temporarily enabled relaying on my server so that the email would come through. After the delisting trouble, I de-enabled relaying again. I think the best answer is to just get bigpond to change my reverse DNS. I do not have access to the DSBL server so I can't see what the world looks like from that perspective, but on my own systems I cannot reproduce your success: % host -tmx CPE-61-9-203-178.static.nsw.bigpond.net.au CPE-61-9-203-178.static.nsw.bigpond.net.au mail is handled (pri=0) by mx-relay.nsw.bigpond.net.au % host mx-relay.nsw.bigpond.net.au Host not found. It is possible that Bigpond's DNS servers return inconsistent data and that Yahoo stumbled upon a usable answer. The problem with delisting Bigpond customers is rather old; you may wish to contact your ISP to get this fixed once and for all.
