Hello. 29.12.2006 0:23, Sidney Millwork Company пишет: > We did have an open relay after our mail server crashed and a new one > was set up and the software installed w/ a relay box left unchecked. > We have corrected the problem, but the request was sent to the wrong > address at infoav. Why do you write that this address is wrong? The only publically known name of the machine in question is "cms2-240.r1.mtsdny.infoave.net". Respectively, <[email protected]> is definitely responsible for it's misuse including open relays. > Please take us off your list It is impossible until you will prove that abuse reports related to the machine in question are really read by a responsible human. This human can be either you or InfoAve network security officer. In practice, you have three options: 1. Contact InfoAve network security team and ask them to find the message from DSBL to <[email protected]> dated 2006/Dec/26 18:22:44 UTC. The magic URL in this message is still valid. 2. Ask InfoAve Hostmasters <[email protected]> to change the reverse DNS record and publish your corporate domain instead of generic name. This action is feasible anyway, see http://www.au.sorbs.net/faq/dul.shtml "Listing Criteria". 3. Read http://dsbl.org/faq-listed#notmine and implement it in accordance with your software manuals. Whatever is easier for you. > or contact me at > [email protected] or [email protected] Yes, sir. DSBL is contacting you.
