All of those are handled by "yum update" or "up2date -u" (CentOS or
RHEL).
RedHat "back ports" security patches. So, even though httpd (Apache 2)
is at version 2.0.52-22.ent.centos4, it has all the security patches
that came in 2.0.53, 54, and 55 :)

Yes, Yes.
("yum install sendmail-dev" will include the part of the source you need
to build the perl milter)
